This week for the first time on my ISM journey, I was face to face with frustration and aggravation. This past week I was supposed to be meeting with the VP of digital Marketing for Dave & Busters; however, my own errors led me to miss the chance to speak with him. Or so I thought at least. We were all ready to have the interview, I had sent him a google calendar invite, so that way he had our meeting on the schedule, I then sent a zoom meeting link for us to meet on. Well, apparently the google calendar invite actually made it possible to meet on that platform, so while I was waiting patiently in the zoom lobby, Mr. FitzPatrick was waiting patiently in the google meets lobby. I caused us both to ghost one another, on our first interview. I was so embarrassed, luckily for me he sent me a follow up email and I will be meeting with him on Monday. (Through his own zoom link). I am very excited for this second opportunity to meet with him and discuss what he does and learn about the field of digital marketing.
